In 1999 Nikki and husband Michael opened their first streat café in Belfast. Their vision was to develop the streat as the best known and most successful café concept to come out of Ireland. They set out to achieve this by delivering consistently great food and coffee with award winning service in contemporary surroundings.
Now the streat has become one of Northern Irelands best known café brands with an increasing network of outlets.    

One of the building blocks of the Streat's success has been the commitment to investment and training, which is virtually unique in the world of cafes. The streat has gained a reputation for excellence in training leading to investors in people recognition and numerous training awards including being the first café company ever to win a UK National Training award.

Nikki believes her ability to impart knowledge and train to a high level of expertise has enabled them to share their successful business formula with other entrepreneurs through Franchising.
