Christine joined the recruitment industry 20 years ago, becoming the Area Manager for a national recruitment agency within the province.  Forming Select Recruitment NI Limited 10 years ago. Christine has had responsibility for Personnel, Service Delivery, Operations and Accounts.  As Director of Select Recruitment she spent a lot of time developing staff "on the job" through hands on demonstration and coaching to ensure they understand what is required.

Christine has always committed extensive time to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, the industry's governing body, where her focus within the steering committee concentrated on global issues for the betterment of the industry overall, the clients and the candidates.

She has recently been nominated Chair of the REC Northern Ireland Region.

Christine feels that the REC holds the key to continued success for all recruitment agencies with regard to the current focus on European employment legislation. Her ambition is to work towards having the REC seen as a governing body for all recruitment agencies and their clients and, as a direct result, government co-operation with only these members.

Christine is also a prominent member of the Institute of Directors.
