The event will focus on The Art Of Communication and will provide attendees with an insight into the do’s and don'ts of ‘Managing Your Reputation’ and ‘Managing Your Technology’ (two crucial areas of modern business and management). This Management Month event is free to attend although space is limited so early booking is recommended. 


Gwyneth Cockroft Gwynneth Cockroft: Managing Your Reputation

Gwynneth is Managing Director of dcp Strategic Communication and has been involved in public relations for more than 25 years.  She worked at director level for various local consultancies before setting up the full-service communications agency, dcp, in 1995.  The dcp team has built up strong relationships with journalists and elected representatives over the years, which provide opportunities for dcp clients to shine.  Gwynneth specialises in reputation management, planning PR, public and corporate affairs and crisis management for a variety of prestigious clients including Tesco, Tayto, firmus energy, InterTradeIreland and the National Trust.  She will draw on her extensive experience to deliver a masterclass in Managing Your Reputation.
Garry Mac Donald Garry MacDonald: Managing Technology - Sins and Salvations

Garry has worked in the IT sector for 23 years and, in 2001, set up his own business, Tartan IS, which has recently rebranded as Helios IT as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations.  Helios provides technology support to over 160 organisations across Northern Ireland and is growing rapidly.  Getting the technology right within an organisation can be a major cost saving and a key tool in managing a business and its customers to generate better bottom line performance and a strong reputation for everyone. His talk, ‘Managing Technology: Sins & Salvations’ will help attendees avoid the communication pitfalls and potential catastrophes of everyday business IT.
