Richard Bell (Managing Director, Solmatix)
From a standing start in 2008, operating from some outbuildings in Dundrod, Richard and his wife Norah-Anne (a Ballybogey girl) have seen phenomenal growth in their business. Solmatix designs, manufactures and installs renewable energy equipment, specifically for domestic and commercial customers in the UK and Ireland. The company moved to Lisburn in 2011, now employs 18 people and has a turnover in the region of £1.5m. There are significant expansion plans for 2012 and beyond, which include moving to new premises. Richard has had extensive industrial design and manufacturing success in the aerospace, defence and commercial sectors and was a former Technical Director of RFD Ltd. In addition, Richard has provided direct business consultancy services to around 250 local SMEs in the areas of strategy, design, innovation and competitiveness. He is very committed to the growth of the local economy and will share this experience to help local businesses to ‘Make the Most of it’. |

Bill Manson (Director, Podiem)
Bill Manson has spent most of his career identifying and developing leadership talent. His extensive experience was built initially in heading up Management development within Bombardier and then as Chief Executive of the Management & Leadership Network (MLN). As Director of Podiem, Bill is now working with leaders and leadership teams in a diverse range of organisations, such as micro businesses, family firms and larger organisations.
Bill will host the event and share key insights in the areas of leadership, people and talent management. |
