Leaders for Tomorrow
Northern Ireland private sector managers need to possess vision and strategic leadership capability to enable them to operate effectively beyond local boundaries. The ‘Leaders for Tomorrow’ programme addresses these issues in an intensive and highly participative two-week study programme at the prestigious Harvard University, Boston USA. This is then followed by a programme of ongoing development in conjunction with local organisations and bodies in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
How it works
Participants (middle to senior managers), spend two weeks in Boston USA, undertaking two weeks of academic study at Harvard University. Upon return from Boston, participants will have the opportunity to meet with public, private and voluntary sector leaders from across Ireland during a focused Leadership in Action programme.
Who can apply?
Middle to senior managers from Small to Medium-sized Enterprises and Social Enterprises in Northern Ireland.

What funding is available?
The Department for Employment and Learning annually funds a number of participants from Small to Medium sized Enterprises in Northern Ireland.
