DIRECTOR DEVELOPMENT IRELAND LTD: IMPACT! Mentoring Programme
Background:
CONTENT 12 hours of one-to-one mentoring over a six month period – the format can vary but would typically be six 2 hour monthly meetings with appropriate contact by telephone and email between sessions. Mentors will assist mentees draw up Personal and Organisational Development Action Plans (PODAPs) to help them sustain and build upon their learning and achievements. These plans will be informally developed during the programme and become formalised at the end, providing the executives and companies with practical pathways to address their future development needs. Three months after the mentoring programme is complete a follow up visit will be made to evaluate the effectiveness of the initiative and to assess ongoing needs.
