Professor David Taylor - Unlocking the Talent that Already Exists Within Your Team
David helps people and organisations to make permanent change, very fast. His client list includes many of the most successful companies and leaders in the world. He is the author of the world’s fastest selling business book, and, as a speaker, is a past winner of the prestigious “European Business Speaker” award. He has keynoted in 40 different countries, with over 300,000 people having attended a David Taylor event in venues such the Acropolis in Athens, the San Francisco 49’ers stadium and the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. David believes that, locked inside your organisation there exists the strengths, ideas and abilities that, when unlocked, will transform its growth, profit and productivity. He will share exactly how to do this – the proven, practical and powerful actions to take that will unleash all the talents in all the people that you already have.

Dr John Teeling - Reflections from an Entrepreneur
John is widely regarded as the father of the Irish whiskey renaissance and one of Ireland’s most successful business leaders.  His working life began when, as a 15 year old, he took over his late father's business in order to keep the family afloat. There followed a distinguished academic career, which included the award of a Doctorate from Harvard University.  In 1986, and based on findings from one of his own research papers, John founded Cooley Distillery. In 2012 he oversaw its sale to Jim Beam for $95 million.  A prolific entrepreneur, John has set up more listed companies on a stock exchange than any other Irishman. Among other business interests, he is the Founder and Chairman of Connemara Mining, Petrel Resources, Minco, African Gold, Persian Gold, West African Diamonds and Botswana Diamonds, all listed on the London Stock Exchange. Peppered with business and leadership wisdom, John will offer the 'Reflections of an Entrepreneur'.

Professor Eleanor McEvoy - Cultivating a Growth Mindset
Eleanor is CEO of Budget Energy Ltd, which entered the Northern Ireland electricity market in June 2011 and now boasts a customer base of over 60,000. With offices in Belfast and Derry, Budget Energy is a consumer led, profit driven and price effective energy provider. Prior to this, Eleanor successfully built and sold two companies; Pembroke Distributors Ltd and Phonecard Warehouse Ltd. A Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship at Ulster University, she was recognised as UTV Business Personality of the Year in 2013 and also sits on the Ernst & Young EoY Alumni Board. A champion of ‘scaling up’, Eleanor believes that there are personal and organisational rewards attached to entrepreneurial behaviour in every ‘job’ context. Reflecting on the challenges and lessons of her own journey, Eleanor will share her thoughts on ‘Cultivating a Growth Mindset’.

Mark Pollock - Expecting Problems As We Explore Possibilities
Unbroken after blindness in 1998, Mark Pollock went on to compete in ultra endurance races across deserts, mountains and the polar ice caps, including being the first blind person to race to the South Pole. He also won silver and bronze medals for rowing at the Commonwealth Games for Northern Ireland. In 2010 Mark was left paralysed after falling from a second storey window. He is now exploring the frontiers of spinal cord injury recovery and connecting people around the world with the aim of fast-tracking a cure for paralysis. As part of this, he recently founded the ‘Run in the Dark’ initiative, which has spread worldwide. A highly sought after speaker on the international circuit, Mark shares his thinking with humour and honesty. He will deliver an address entitled ‘Expecting Problems As We Explore Possibilities'.

Justin Urquhart Stewart - Since We Last Met
Justin describes himself as a businessman, market commentator and the world’s worst barrister. During his working life he has also gained employment on vineyards, archaeology sites and Southampton docks! An engaging, lively and entertaining character, Justin (sporting his trademark red braces) appears regularly on BBC1 Business Breakfast, Radio 5 Live and Wake Up To Money. An entrepreneur in his own right, he co-founded Seven Investment Management (7IM) in 2001. The company helps individuals and their families manage their capital to meet their financial needs/aspirations and now employs some 200 people. In March 2015 Justin won The Spectator Money Award for Lifetime Achievement. He will Chair the event, draw out the nuggets and lessons from our speakers and offer his own unique observations.
