Justin Urquhart Stewart, Market Commentator & Media Personality 
Justin describes himself as a businessman, market commentator and the world’s worst barrister!  An engaging, lively and entertaining character, Justin (sporting his trademark red braces) appears regularly on BBC1 Business Breakfast, Radio 5Live and Wake Up To Money. An entrepreneur in his own right, he co-founded Seven Investment Management (7IM) in 2001 which now manages in the region of £7 billion. Justin will chair the conference and deliver a presentation entitled ‘The Easy Way to Make Money’.

Jas Hawker, Former Commanding Officer, Red Arrows
As the Commanding Officer and leader of the Red Arrows, Jas steered the development of the world-class high performance team. During his time in this unique role he was responsible for all aspects of Red Arrows’ operations and led the team on tours across 4 continents, amassing well over 500 public displays. Now the Operations Director of Mission Excellence, an organisational performance consultancy, Jas will use his wealth of experience to draw clear parallels with the commercial world and offer tangible and practical insights into delivering high performance teams, debriefing and prioritising under pressure. 

Lucy Adams, Former Head of Global HR, BBC
Lucy led HR and Internal Communications at the BBC for 5 years. A respected figure in the world of business and talent management, she was responsible for all aspects of employee relations and driving significant organisational change at the BBC during one of the most turbulent periods in the history of the organisation. Since leaving the BBC, Lucy has gone on to become MD of communications agency Firehouse and founder Disruptive HR.   Drawing on her experiences with the BBC and other major organisations – the good, the bad and the ugly - Lucy will offer attendees a number of challenges, new models and fresh insights within her presentation, ‘Leading People in a Disruptive World.’

Richard Bell, MD and Co-founder, Solmatix Ltd
Richard and his wife, Norah-Anne, co-founded Solmatix in 2008. The company has grown from a modest £45k turnover to well over £6m in 2014. It now employs 27 people in the design, manufacture and installation of renewable energy equipment for domestic and commercial customers in the UK and Ireland. Prior to setting up Solmatix, Richard held senior positions in Shorts/Bombardier and RFD Ltd and also provided business consultancy services to around 250 local SMEs in the areas of strategy, design and competitiveness. Within his presentation, ‘It Began in a Barn’, Richard will reflect on his entrepreneurial journey and share the management, leadership and business lessons that have helped him and his team create such a successful business. 

Sir Nigel Hamilton KCB DL, Former Head, NI Civil Service
In his role as Head of the NI Civil Service, from which he retired in 2008, Sir Nigel had responsibility for 29,000 staff, including the First and Deputy First Ministers. Since then he has gone on to take up a number of leadership appointments such as President of Ulster Rugby, Chairman of Princes Trust NI, Chairman of Bryson Charitable Group and a Non-Executive Directorship with George Best Belfast City Airport. Sir Nigel is also the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of the City and County of Belfast. He has a degree in Psychology from Queen’s University and an Honorary Doctorate from Ulster University.  Reflecting on his career experiences, Sir Nigel will deliver a talk entitled ‘Leadership: Lessons of a Lifetime’.
