Author,Founder, Speaker & Force for Good
“Whether you believe it or not, you are my hero, and a wonderful son of humanity.” These are the words of the Dalai Lama when he met Richard Moore at the 10th Anniversary of Richard’s charity, Children in Crossfire. Richard’s story is an example of where triumph overcomes tragedy. As a young boy Richard had a tragic experience which resulted in his life changing forever. However, he did not allow this experience to hold him back and has gone on to live an inspiring and fruitful life. He has received over a dozen awards, across 3 continents, for his charity, peace and reconciliation work. In the 25th year of the Good Friday Agreement it is fitting that we hear from a Northern Irishman who has done so much to help young people affected by conflict and poverty around the world. Reflecting on his journey, Richard will offer his insights on vision, perspective and opportunity.
